During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have put measures in place at Withernay Ltd to ensure the safety of both our staff and any visitors to site whilst continuing our key work producing animal feed.
In order to maintain the health and safety of our staff we have introduced the following measures:
- On entering the building, the temperatures of all staff are taken and all staff must wash their hands immediately before touching anything.
- Breaks have been staggered to ensure that the social distance of 2 metres is adhered to at all times.
- Forklifts have been assigned to individuals and are disinfected before and after use to avoid cross-contamination between staff.
- All protective clothing is washed on site each day to maintain high levels of hygiene.
- Social distancing signs have been placed throughout the site.
- Hand sanitiser stations have been installed.
In order to maintain the health and safety of our visitors we have introduced the following measures:
- Only essential visitors are permitted on site.
- Visitors are not permitted to enter the building before having their temperature checked and must wash their hands immediately after entering.
- A social distance of 2 metres is to be adhered to at all times.
